Upon Arrival

  1. The key pad to enter the building can be found at the back entrance closest to the parking lot. The pin to operate the door changes daily. Please use the number provided to you prior to your event.

  2. Once you enter the building please unlock the deadbolts on all of the other event room doors (front, ramp entrance door, and side patio door).

Clean-Up

  1. Please clean up any major messes and wipe down all tables. Cleaning supplies can be found in the utility closet by the front door if needed.

  2. All trash must be collected and taken to the dumpster out back.

  3. Indoor tables and chairs may be left in place, however any items that have been taken outside please bring them back inside.

  4. Please remove any items you brought from the fridge or freezer.

  5. Please turn off all lights and lock all doors when leaving.

 

General Information

Venue Capacity

  • Maximum Capacity: 50 people

Booking and Payments

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking.

  • Full Payment: Due 7 days prior to the event.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 30+ days: 50% of the total fee is due. Clients may choose to apply the 50% fee to another date within 3 months. 

    • Within 30 days: 100% of the total cost is due. Clients may choose to apply the 100% fee to another date within the 30-day range, if available. 

Event Planning and Coordination

Pre-Event Requirements

  • Event Coordinator: Clients must designate an event coordinator to liaise with venue staff and vendors.

  • Vendor Approval: All vendors must be approved by the venue at least one week before the event.

  • Insurance: Clients must provide proof of $1 million general liability coverage, including alcohol coverage if applicable.

Set-Up and Decorations

  • Access Times: Set-up can begin no earlier than your rental start time on the day of the event.

  • Decoration Restrictions: No use of tape, nails, or adhesives on walls. Painter’s tape is permitted. No glitter, rice, confetti, or flame candles. Balloons, flowers, and other decorations must be removed immediately after the event.

  • Furniture Placement: Layout must be finalized one week before the event and approved by the venue. Chosen layout will be set up for you before your arrival. Extra tables and chairs are available in the storage room for your use, if needed.

 

During the Event

 

Wifi

  • Free Wifi Available. Network and Password Provided upon arrival.

  • Amazon Echo: Our Amazon Echo is available for your use.

Alcohol and Catering

  • Alcohol Service: Must comply with all state and local laws. Venue staff have the authority to shut down alcohol service if consumption is deemed excessive.

  • Catering: The client is responsible for coordinating catering services and ensuring they comply with venue policies.

Noise and Music

  • Music Restrictions: Amplified music must end by 10:00 PM to comply with local sound ordinances.

Safety and Security

  • Smoking and Open Flames: Strictly prohibited both inside and outside the venue.

  • Supervision of Children: Children must be supervised at all times.

  • Security: Events serving alcohol may require security personnel. The cost of security will be the client's responsibility.

  • Doors: All doors must remain unlocked while building is occupied to comply with fire safety rules.

  • Security Cameras: Security cameras are mounted inside and outside of the building.

Post-Event Responsibilities

  • Time Limit: All events must end and clean-up must be completed by 10:00 PM.

  • Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee of $25 will be assessed if the venue is not left in its original condition.

  • Lost and Found: The venue is not responsible for any items left behind after the event.

Damage and Liability

  • Damage Fees: We recommend obtaining event insurance. Clients are responsible for any damage to the venue or equipment.

  • Liability: The venue is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the event.

Additional Policies

Force Majeure

  • Cancellation: The venue is not responsible for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, power outages, or other events beyond its control.

Parking and Deliveries

  • Parking: Parking is available behind the venue and the neighboring dental office. Handicap parking is available at North Canton TV and appliance. Additional parking is also available across the street at Zion Church and at the Hoover District parking lot (approximately a 3 minute walk). No vehicles are permitted on sidewalks.

  • Deliveries: Must be scheduled during regular business hours. The venue does not accept responsibility for receiving deliveries.

Equipment and Rentals

  • Rental Equipment: Clients must return all rented equipment in the condition it was received. Additional fees apply for missing or damaged items.
